Week 1: Beginning our Planning and Scouting Locations

   

  We began deciding which one of us (me or Clare) will be taking certain roles for our project. For most of our planning process, we will be working collaboratively. We will be working together on story boards, scripts, film schedules, and deciding on mis en scene. We will also split the filming process between each of us, as we both plan on acting in our film.

    We will work separately for certain aspects, as well. Clare has decided that she will purchase her costume for her character, as well as the fake blood and special effects skin mold. I will buy my character costume, as well as buy smaller props such as beer bottles, purity ring, etc. Doing thiss will make the overall cost of production easier to handle.

    For post-production, we will work collaboratively to decide on soundtracks, as well as what editing techniques we will use to add to our film. 

We have already begun the fundamental steps for our film planning process, including scouting a location for us to film at. We have decided to film at Lido Beach, as it is less crowded, and provides great scenery for our film.
