Week 7 (1/3): Editing Software and Advertisement Creation Techniques

My partner and I have decided on utilizing professional editing software, and plan to use Adobe Premier Pro 2022 in order to edit our film accordingly. Throughout my time using editing software in AICE Media Studies AS, I feel as though Adobe Premier Pro allows me to create well-made films and gives many options for stylistic choice for scene cutting and sound techniques. While I still have to learn many of the features on Adobe Premier Pro, I feel the most comfortable using this software, as it is what we have been using in class for the past year.

I will be in charge of creating our advertisements for our film. I am currently deciding between two editing apps in order to create our movie poster and will come to a decision in my next blog post. I want to be able to create a movie poster that is different from conventional movie posters and highlights the main points of our film such as location, religion, and the plot twist for our film opening. My partner and I decided that we would like to include some easter eggs in our movie poster (not spoiling yet!)

I am very excited to be able to experiment with different editing techniques, as well as exploring new features on our chosen editing software!
