Week 5 (2/4):Change in Casting

 

Originally, We casted Colby Kaighin for the role of Elliot, because we thought his appearance and personality represented the character best. However, we soon learned that Colby would be unavailable during the dates we planned to film. So, we had to begin recasting for the role of Elliot. We wound up having to change the character completely, and begin casting females for the role. We changed Elliot to Emma, and began editing the script accordingly to fit our new circumstances. 

Our new actor for Emma is: 

Payton Erickson

We casted Payton for the role of Emma due to her outgoing and bright personality. Since we want Emma to be very approachable and friendly, Payton would portray this best. Payton loves going to concerts and has an (unhealthy) obsession with Taylor Swift, so she will be able to illustrate authentic emotions for Emma's character.
